
UAE team begins work on hotel refurbishment in Dubai
ChapmanBDSP’s UAE team have begun work on a huge hotel refurbishment of the TADMH Downtown, Dubai.
The 2018 project encompasses renovation of the hotel’s public and front of house areas as well as corridors and guestrooms.
Principal Russell Hunter, who has been working on the hotel redevelopment since 2015, said the current project would involve the complete renovation and re-design of the ground, first and second floors, changes to the third floor spa entrance as well as 244 guest-rooms and corridors from the fourth to the 14th floors.
The executive club lounge, basement laundry complex and all day dining outdoor pool deck facility will be re-designed and constructed. Russell said: “We just about had time to catch our breath after the long design journey we have been on with Emaar since 2015. It’s now all about the build phase, precision accuracy and quality, restoring TADMH in her beauty and getting her back open for business”.
