Aon, 122 Leadenhall Street
London, UK
Aon’s relocation to The Leadenhall Building, commonly known as “The Cheesegrater,” was a consolidation of the firm’s UK property portfolio from five London sites into two. The 190,000-square-foot vertical campus unites its more than 2,000 employees and reinforces the global collaboration of the firm.
Occupying ten of the forty five floors (approximately 30% of the office space), the design supports agile working, collaboration and connectivity, optimising employee and visitor comfort. Public areas located on the lower floors are arranged to maximise the deepest floor plates and take advantage of the impressive views over Leadenhall Street and the public realm.
The MEP systems have been designed with flexibility in mind, in order to 'future proof' and support the growing business. The fit out was designed to a BIM Level 2 and achieved a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
