Benham Park, Hotel and Members Club
Berkshire, UK
Benham Park is a mansion house situated in Berkshire.
The main house, a Grade II* listed building which was constructed in 1775, was subject to a major refurbishment in 1983 and converted to offices.
We were appointed to undertake refurbishment of the mansion house - which had stood empty since the mid-1990s - and our work involved replacing existing services to suit the requirements of a private members club and hotel, with the associated back-of-house facilities for the provision of live in staff.
New heating, ventilation, cooling, lighting, and small power were provided throughout the building/
In addition to 11 Bedroom suites, the conversion of the basement included a gymnasium, catering kitchen, front of house kitchen and media room.
The services have been designed to allow for a phase two development in the future, whereby additional sports and leisure facilities are to be provided.
