Chelsea Island is a luxury, residential led development located on a 1.16 acre site in London’s Hammersmith and Fulham in a prime Creekside setting next to Chelsea Harbour. The scheme forms the final phase of the Chelsea Harbour development.
The scheme includes 89 apartments in a range of one, two and three bedroom designs. Alongside this communal roof gardens, (private) basement parking, gymnasium, interior design showrooms and a new public creekside plaza, and over 11,000ft2 of mixed retail space, combine to make this a desirable location.
The design has been developed around four key principals; Comfort, Detail, Elegance and Delight to deliver a truly world class residential development that is distinctly modern and distinctly British.
The façades are clad in a number of different materials, including brick, glazing, reconstituted stone, natural stone and timber. There are also inset and projecting balconies.
The project required a high efficiency boiler plant, heat recovery and power factor correction to reduce carbon emissions and to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
