Investec

London

Investec is an international specialist banking group providing a diverse range of financial services to a niche client base.

It has relocated to a 149,000ft2 office space, supplemented by a further circa 20,000ft2 of space at a nearby location.

In its main building, the space enables agile working with all associated support spaces to ensure their staff can work collaboratively. The atrium includes a feature stair providing connectively of the working floors.

The client suite is technology enabled to ensure that the client experience is fully flexible. The incorporation of extensive catering promotes staff wellbeing and provides alternative flexible work and meeting areas.

The second project, in an adjacent building provides further alternative work settings with focus meeting rooms, catering facilities and wellbeing studio.

The London HQ provides an ‘inspirational activity-based workplace environment’ to empower staff; promoting movement and well-being.

It is a non-hierarchical space planned with the principles of openness, connectivity and transparency. These premises will support the business as it evolves and provide for future growth. We helped the client create its own bespoke sustainability assessment criteria.

Uniquely on this project, we developed a bespoke sustainability strategy with Investec which incorporated several key elements of both BREEAM and WELL.
