A 15MW new build extension to an existing data centre located in North West London.

The design is for technical fit out of two data halls within a larger complex that also includes 100% generator back-up located in an adjacent building.

Cooling is provided by dedicated roof top plant enclosure built up in two layers to allow for location of ventilation plant and ancillary services below a mezzanine deck for the chillers.

Heat rejected from the cooling plant will be diverted via a heat recovery circuit with a future provision for a district heating network to supply local development. The roof also has an extensive Photo Voltaic array helping to achieve a PUE of 1.3.

The design has been taken from RIBA Stage 3 through to Stage 4 and will include input from trade contractors to integrate DfMA and constructability from an early stage. We are providing design for all services including CFD modelling, specialist ICT and Controls design as well as Fire and Acoustics advice through our delivery partners.
